$19.96 back for every $1 spent on facebook remarketing

Over the course of a year, we ran a Facebook™ Dynamic Product Ad (DPA) that averaged a 19.96x return on ad Spend!

These type of ads will target website visitors that view a product but do not buy, then show them the same products they were just looking at on the site!

This is but one example of how powerful remarketing can be over the long term.

I’ll give another example, this time a 24 Hour Sale based campaign we ran for the same store using similar remarketing methods. They spent $48.87 in total, and made $2,364.88 from Facebook. That’s a 48.39x Return on their advertising spend!

Now, this is a great case study of what Facebook remarketing can do, I’m not saying that everyone will get these kinds of MASSIVE results, but there is proof here that it is possible with certain industries and products.

$35 back for every $1 spent with email marketing

Over the course of nearly a year (11 months) from July the 18th 2018 until June the 6th 2019, we made nearly $25,000 through email marketing while only spending $712 on the email platform.

That is a 35x ROI!

We run Auto Product Recommendation emails every 2 weeks that tailor the products in the email to each customer, looking at what they have ordered in the past and recommending products that most suit their buying habits.

We also ran a 3 part Abandoned Cart Email series to people that go to check out but then abandon the sale. If the user is logged in with their email and adds products to their cart, they will also get sent this series.

The main point of these emails is to remind the customer to complete the sale, or offer an incentive to continue the purchase. Lets get back some of those lost sales!

Another regular email we send out is a sale email. Just 4-6 products that currently have an offer attached to them such as a discount, free product, or Buy One Get One type of sale.

Because of the limited amount of subscribers on this list we were not able to segment out the subscribers in to categories, but with a larger list you can only send relevant offers to specific customers, a nice way to not overwhelm your list and also keep them engaged with your brand.

$7.83 back for every $1 spent getting new customers

Remarketing is great, and you can get a super high return on investment with it and everything, but how do you get new customers to your store in the first place?

The main source of cold traffic (strangers to your business) that we use is Google Shopping.

Now getting new customers is more costly than getting sales from an existing warm audience (people that know your business).

Breaking even at this point is great, because you can then make your profit back through remarketing. This is how the successful stores do it.

With one of our clients, not only were we getting new customers in but we were doing it at a 7.83x return! That’s $7.83 for every $1 they are spending on cold traffic!

The key here is to use Advanced Google Analytics data from your website to supercharge your Google Shopping Campaigns. This lets us knuckle down and focus on only the highest value traffic while letting your competition waste money on the rest.
